I
would like to invite you to join the Dynamis School for Advanced Homopathic
Studies. I know from my own experience, and from the feedback of thousands
of students world wide, that you will love and benefit greatly from this course.
Let me explain why
|
|
The aim of the Dynamis course is to develop in each student a deep understanding
of homopathic philosophy and principles. Once these have been firmly
grasped, they can be transformed into powerful tools for creating truly homopathic
solutions to the seemingly confusing and complex problems which can arise
in day to day practice. In essence, this means learning the science of homopathy
and letting it grow into an art! |
|
Most
of the course is conducted through lectures which I teach myself. However,
a guided sharing of information and ideas is always encouraged and active
participation welcomed. Practical application of the theory of homopathy
takes place through video, paper and live cases, as well as through discussion
of student's own difficult cases. The tone of the classes is light and enjoyable,
infused throughout with wit, good humour and a promise of learning satisfaction
for all who attend! |
|
Students
are encouraged to develop greater insight into the nature of humankind, and
the meaning of sickness, health and cure from the homopathic standpoint. |
 |
A
deeper understanding of miasmic theory is learned together with a method
of applying it in practice. This in turn enables greater clarity in differentiating
between acute, chronic, and miasmic disease. |
 |
Whilst
emphasising the importance of matching what is to be cured in the patient
with what is curative in the remedy, we find new meaning in the question
"what is to be cured". |
 |
Students
are taught how to take the case, to understand the objectives of case-taking
and to master various techniques for dealing with difficult cases. |
 |
Students
learn to identify patterns which unify a myriad of seemingly unconnected
symptoms into a comprehensive, logical picture of the totality of the
disease. |
 |
By
learning to arrange a set of symptoms into a hierarchy which truly represents
the totality, students learn to translate relevant symptoms accurately
into repertory language. |
 |
Students
develop extensive skills in the science and art of repertorising and develop
a clearer understanding of materia medica without the need for memorising
or keynotes. |
 |
Students
learn better case management through a deeper understanding of how to
follow a case, assess remedy reaction and direction of cure, and prescribe
second and subsequent prescriptions. |
 |
Anatomy,
physiology, pathology, disease and chemistry are reviewed from a homopathic
point of view. |
|
| Throughout
the course, homopathy is compared to other related philosophies of healing
and life. This is done in such a way as to open the door to free thinking,
understanding that our only obligation is to the truth, and that our patients
are our best teachers. |
Why
I Love Teaching Dynamis
|
Practising
and teaching homopathy is my greatest fulfilment, but most of all I
love teaching Dynamis. The continuity of one teacher with one group over a
long period of time makes all the difference. I love teaching a group of like
minded adults motivated by a common desire. It is my pleasure to share everything
I've learnt over the years, and to equally to learn from my students.
I
enjoy the good laughs, the friendships, and the difficult questions in class.
I love seeing the transformations as powerful roots of understanding grow
into great trees of knowledge. I love learning more about homopathy,
life and the universe from every lesson. I even get to practice my stand-up
comedy! |
I
now teach the Dynamis School in many different countries around the world.
Each course follows the same essential principles, but is adapted to suit
the purposes of the individual group and setting. The course is always part
time, run over either two or three years.
Regular features of every course are the clinic days, where students have an opportunity to viewand participate in live case taking and analysis. Attendance
of a percentage of these clinics is an essential component of the course,
as are the original projects undertaken by students during their time of study.
For details of forthcoming and ongoing Dynamis courses & contacts around
the world, please look at dates on the Calendar or consult the Contact Us
pages.
|
|
The
main criteria for acceptance to the program is the desire to study classical homopathy, and to dedicate a considerable amount of time and energy
to this pursuit.
This is an advanced course and is open to practitioners and students who have
a solid understanding of the fundamentals and practice of homopathy,
as well as knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and disease. The Dynamis
School is not intended to provide a complete training in homoeopathic practice,
but rather to further and deepen the student's existing knowledge and understanding.
Those students who do not have this background and who still wish to attend
the course should contact us to discuss this matter. |
|
will
be based on individual merit, and in some cases an interview may be required. |
|
Please
consult the individual course organisers on the Contact Us pages for forthcoming
courses. If a course is available which suits your location and availability,
we will require a copy of your CV, or details of your professional and life
experience as application. |
| In
your application, please make sure you answer the following questions: |
| 1. |
Why
do you want to do this course? |
| 2. |
What
kind of homopathic study are you interested in and why? |
| 3. |
Please
include the name of at least one Homopath who will support your
application. |
|
Please
note that enrolment on Dynamis courses is limited and allocated on a first
come first serve basis upon receipt and acceptance of your application and
payment of a deposit.
For any further details, please contact my dedicated team of course organisers
around the world (see Contact Us), or email: dynamis@dynamis.edu
I hope that your enjoyment of homoeopathy will increase with your understanding,
and that as a result of this course the only teachers you will need will be
your patients and yourself.
I look forward to sharing homopathy with you.
